To help process a complaint, guests are asked to state the dates of their stay, booking reference and facts giving rise to the complaint.
Under Articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumer guests may refer a dispute to a consumer mediator free of charge in an attempt to reach an amicable settlement, after sending a written complaint to the establishment and subject to applicable admissibility requirements.
In particular, mediation must be requested within one year of the written complaint sent to the professional.
Contact details of the competent consumer mediator:

Using mediation does not deprive the customer of the right to bring a claim before the competent courts.
Article 16 – Applicable law and dispute resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory provisions that may apply to consumers.
In the event of a disagreement, the parties will seek an amicable resolution first.
If no agreement is reached, the dispute may be referred to the competent courts under applicable law.
Nothing in these terms may deprive the customer of rights granted by applicable legislation.
Article 17 – Changes to the Terms and Conditions
The establishment may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect legislative or regulatory developments or changes to the services offered.
Changes do not apply retrospectively to bookings already confirmed, unless agreed between the parties or required by mandatory law.
If a provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain applicable insofar as the overall balance of the contract can be preserved.
