Hôtel Le Magnan offers secure private parking, a valuable and uncommon advantage in this medieval city. Enclosed by its walls, Avignon is partly pedestrianised and consequently has limited parking. All parking within the city walls is chargeable, whether on the street or in underground car parks. Two large free car parks outside the old town are connected to the centre by free shuttle buses.
The rate is €15.00 from arrival in the afternoon until midday the following day, compared with street parking at €0.80 to €4.00 an hour. Street parking is also limited to four hours, requiring you to top up the parking meter. Public underground car parks cost around €25.00 for 24 hours.
